Office Visit

  • Inquiring about lost property at our office is always free of charge.

Online Inquiry

  • By making an online inquiry (€4.95), you’ll receive a notification if we’re able to match your inquiry to any found items.
  • The inquiry is valid for 2 weeks.
  • This service works well, especially for bags and backpacks, but the general rule always applies: the better you describe your item, the more likely we can identify it accurately.

Phone service

  • By calling our nationwide 24h phone service at +358 600 41006 (see call rates at the bottom of the page), you can always find out if your item is in our database.
  • If your item hasn’t arrived yet, we’ll record your inquiry in our database, check incoming items for 2 weeks, and notify you if we receive it.
  • For difficult-to-identify items, items arriving with a significant delay, or other challenging situations, we offer special customer support as needed.

Our Vantaa office is handling and storing most of our items, including items from VR long distance trains, boats, hotels and restaurants.

The office is located in Porttipuisto area, near to Ikea. Access from the courtyard side of the building.

Our Helsinki office is handling and storing all items received from HSL (Helsinki Regional Transport). Items lost in other locations may also be inquired about here. Keys, prescription glasses and sunglasses, headwear, gloves, scarves, and umbrellas left on HSL vehicles must be inquired about in person at our office.

The office is located on the lower floor of the western wing (Kauppakuja) of Helsinki Central Railway Station, near VR’s storage lockers and the station’s restroom facilities.

In 2026, our offices are closed on the following days:

New Year’s Day 1.1., Epiphany 6.1., Easter 3.- 6.4., May Day 1.5., Ascension Day 14.5., Midsummer 19.- 20.6., All Saints’ Day 31.10., Independence Day 6.12., Christmas 24.- 26.12. On New Year’s Eve 31.12., we will close at 2:00 PM.
